Job Description
As a key contact and expert you will lead in the analysis, development, design, and rollout of Project Management / Controls processes by implementing Oracle Primavera Project Management software. The successful candidate works closely with clients to improve project deliverables and performance through software usage. The successful incumbent has experience in training and development, plus you have supported business development initiatives.
This position requires an agile creative craftsman with highly developed interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and software implementation capabilities all of which will allow you to meet and exceed client needs in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Works with clients to define and implement project controls processes, using Oracle Primavera software
- Meets and exceeds Key Performance Indicators for the clients
- Facilitates Oracle Primavera training classes
- Participates in business development initiatives
Education
- B.Sc., B.Eng. or equivalent education
- P.Eng or PMP preferred
Professional Development
- Four years experience managing projects through the entire Project Lifecycle
- Three years experience leading Capital Projects, Turnarounds, Outages, and / or construction projects
- Two years experience which includes scoping, analyzing and understanding the needs of our clients, to ensure project scheduling and cost controls are set-up properly
- Two years experience in technical design, process analysis, and business application implementation and/or project management tools
- Experience / working knowledge of ERP and CMMS/EAM systems and working knowledge of Risk, Cost and Contract Management tools and techniques
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to build and manage strong long term relationships with complex clients of varying sizes and industries. The ability to bridge the gap between the technical cobras, the implementers and the business world
- Proven ability to speak in public as a presenter who facilitates training classes, and the ability to follow up with clients over the phone or in a boardroom
- Two years experience in the sales and pre-sales cycle and the ability to write proposals
- Ability to develop innovative ideas, advancements, and solutions to exceed our clients needs
- Two years experience creatively solving problems using software and technology
Software
- Oracle Primavera Suite: P6, MyPrimavera, timesheets, Contract Manager, Pro Sight, or other project management software, AutoCAD
- MS Office Suite – Outlook/Exchange, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel
- Oracle Primavera Pertmaster or other risk management tool
- Maximizer CRM
