P6 Calendar Generator Utility usage at CP Rail

P6 Calendar Generator Utility is a valuable tool which Emerald Associates developped to assist CP Rail, who always had a hard time creating their schedules.  This difficulty was largely in part because they had so many different resource calendars to consider while scheduling.  Although they used Primavera P6 to create their schedules, they essentially had to manually create them while looking at the different resource availabilities to ensure that there were no holes in their master schedule.  This process was very time consuming and allowed much room for human input error.

CP Rail brought this problem to our attention at Emerald Associates and we worked with them to solve it.  We helped them overcome this obstacle by creating the Primavera P6 Calendar Generator Utility which automatically combines the different resources calendars into one master calendar from which a schedule could easily be made and worked with.
