The General Tab provides a place to record basic information about the Submittal Package, such as the Title and the Contract it is associated with.

The Status Tab is where responsibility and priority are assigned. The Submittal Package Status can be set and information about included Submittals is shown.

A Workflow Template can be set up for Submittal transfers and revisions. This Template will be copied into the Submittals created for this Submittal Package. 

Information about each Submittal in the Package is included along with a link into each Submittal.

The entire Package can be updated quickly and easily.

Submittal Packages can be linked in to Issues.

The log screen can be customized to display various information about each Submittal Package.

The Workflow for Submittal transfers and revisions can be copied from the Template or modified to reflect the needs of each Submittal. Contract Management allows for tracking approval from multiple reviewers.

Multiple Review cycles can be recorded in Contract Management for each Submittal. Information and transfer dates are recorded for each revision, along with the Status.

During each Review Cycle, multiple Reviewers can be tracked in Contract Management along with the Status they assign to the Submittal.
Attachments can be added to each Submittal or to each Review Cycle.

The Schedule section, which allows for a link to the Primavera Schedule to retrieve dates, makes it possible to calculate the dates when each step of the Submittal Process must start and finish in order to have the Submittal Approved on time.

The Submittal log screen shows information about each Submittal and its Status.

The General Tab provides a place to record basic Change Management information, such as number, date, title.

The Status Tab has Priority and Status settings, as well as Ball in Court to draw a particular contact’s attention to the document.

In the Budget Tab, change documents affecting the Budget can be created in each of the four phases.

In the Commitments Tab, change documents affecting one or more of the commitment contracts can be created in each of the four phases.

The Remarks Tab contains information from the document that initiated Change Management, in this case a Request for Information with a Question and Answer.

Links to each of the phases of the change process are available in the Documents by Phase Tab.

The Details Tab contains a link back to the document that initiated Change Management. The Change Management document can also be linked to an Activity from the P6 schedule for reference.

Custom Fields allow you to track any type of information that you may need. Various types of data fields can be used, and pick lists can be used to validate data that is entered.

An unlimited number of Issues can be linked to each Change Management document. An issue is like a virtual file folder holding links to each document related to a particular subject, work package or issue.

In the Attachments Tab, associated URLs or documents can be attached, for example here the RFI that initiated the change is attached.

The Version Tab holds all the recorded versions of the Change Management document.  Versions can be recorded manually or they can automatically be recorded every time the document is modified and saved. This feature is new to Contract Management Release 13.

The General Tab provides a place to record basic RFI information, such as to-from parties, number, date, title.

The Review Status Tab is where RFI approvals are recorded using the approval workflow. The workflow allows for an unlimited number of approvers, and can specify the order in which approvals are needed. Questions are asked in the Questions Tab. The Question Distribution allows you to record who the question was sent to.

Answers are provided in the Answer Tab. Cost and Schedule impacts can be recorded here, and the Answer Distribution records who the answer was sent to.

Additional information is stored in the Details Tab. The RFI can be linked to a Contract, and if a cost or schedule change results from the RFI, it can also be linked to the Change Management document for reference.

Drawings can be linked to the RFI as well. These can be technical engineering drawings, or a variety of other documents.

In the Schedule Tab, the RFI can be linked to an activity from the P6 schedule.

The Contract Summary has tabs to access summary information about the contract that the RFI is linked to.

Again within the Contract Summary Tab, access links to documents in other modules associated with the contract.
