The layout usage sheet also lists the Gantt bars in the layout, if they are visible or not, and which filter they reference.\N\NLayouts and filter controls have been greatly expanded with a layout loader sheet to deal with user layouts, which allows the team to clean up user filters from layouts, including global layouts. DESCRIPTION:At Emerald Associates, we’ve worked with many clients who have had to migrate standalone databases over to a shared environment in Primavera P6. One of the struggles they often face is getting their EPS structures and global data out of their standalones and into their new Cloud environments when their databases are in a SQLite format.The P6 Import/Export Utility lets you export files from a P6 SQLite database, as well as import files into a P6 online database or P6 local database, using the P6 client itself. Only XER files can be exported/imported, and it currently only lists projects from a SQLite database when exporting projects.This tool can be used to export all projects from a P6 SQLite database. It lists the projects from the SQLite database, allowing you pick and choose which projects you want to export, and then invokes P6 on each project to have the XER generated. Also, in conjunction with Emerald’s P6-Scrubber tool, the utility also lets you clean, roll down, and/or remap unwanted data on all XER files in a given folder. As the files are processed, they are moved into a success/failure folder and the P6-Scrubber generated files are placed into an output folder. When this is complete, the tool can be used to import projects from a given folder into a P6 database. One of the struggles they often face is getting their EPS structures and global data out of their standalones and into their new Cloud environments when their databases are in a SQLite format.<br><br>The P6 Import/Export Utility lets you export files from a P6 SQLite database, as well as import files into a P6 online database or P6 local database, using the P6 client itself. Only XER files can be exported/imported, and it currently only lists projects from a SQLite database when exporting projects.<br><br>This tool can be used to export all projects from a P6 SQLite database. It lists the projects from the SQLite database, allowing you pick and choose which projects you want to export, and then invokes P6 on each project to have the XER generated. Also, in conjunction with Emerald’s P6-Scrubber tool, the utility also lets you clean, roll down, and/or remap unwanted data on all XER files in a given folder. As the files are processed, they are moved into a success/failure folder and the P6-Scrubber generated files are placed into an output folder. When this is complete, the tool can be used to import projects from a given folder into a P6 database. This data is presented in our web application in simple inline tabular reports which can be tailored with filters and column customization and saved for reusing without the assistance of a DBA. P6-Auditor makes finding what has been added, changed and/or deleted from P6 and who did it very easy.
