Positive Results From Emerald's Primavera Plunge
A Big Thank You
On behalf of the entire Emerald team we would like to thank everyone who took part in making our Primavera Plunge a success. We couldn't have asked for more of the venue, the great food and especially those who attended.

What Was Covered
One of the most well received presentations was the new release of Oracle Primavera Unifier v10 with the added bonus of unique features built by Emerald. Contract management, change management, document management, vendor management, budget, funding and LEMS were some of the functionality shown in Unifier.
Primavera Risk Analysis was another popular topic that covered a variety of projects including turnarounds, capital projects and multi-project management. With
Emerald’s risk analysis experience in upwards of 50 billion dollars’ worth of projects, it is no surprise why these presentations were well attended.
Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management (OPPM) was another popular contender. During these presentations the presenters dove into the main issue of dealing with a variety of strategic initiatives, and how with so many different initiatives, it is often difficult to measure and balance their contribution to achieving corporate goals. These presentations did an excellent job of showing how OPPM is the solution to uncovering the optimum mix of investments/projects within your organization.
Other presentation topics included Emerald’s P6 add-ons and updating tools including the showcasing of some new releases such as the popular P6 Loader v3.0 and Emerald’s EP-dashboard and EP-datawarehouse. Other new releases included
TAPS barcode-based P6 updating and CAPPS, a secure, role-based P6 updating tool.
Although some attendees were slightly overwhelmed by all of the presentation choices when they arrived, there was definitely something here for everyone to dive in and take part in the new vision of how today’s collaborative portfolio management tools break down silos and deliver measurable results to project based organizations.
