Version 13 of CAPPS comes with a completely redesigned and easier to use UI, sophisticated team and user management, better filter and layout management, improved business rule processing in the grid, performance improvements, and more.
New Features

Team Management - team management now allows for simple deployment of default profiles.

Easier Filtering and Layout Controls - Easier to manage by the admin superuser and also the user.

Additional Notes and User Defined Fields (UDFs) - better note management includes additional notes at different update levels for better traceability.

Distraction-Free Mode - a new distraction-free mode maximizes the real estate available to the grid by hiding everything but the grid.

Additional Columns - new columns have been added to certain grids, such as Start Date and Finish Date to the resource and expense grids.

Improved Activity Lifecycle Management - activities that are currently in play won't drop off the grids until they reach a new "approved and completed" status.

Greater Fidelity With P6 Behaviour - better cascading updates due to business rules have been implemented.
Enhancements

Steps - improving Percent Complete tracking and ease of use with fill-downs.

Resource Assignments - ability to fill down actual start and finish dates and resource units, including EAC and ETC.

Expenses - ability to fill down actual start and finish dates and expense costs EAC and ETC columns.

Approval and Submitter Mode Controls - allow the users to switch modes without having to log out.

Improved Visuals and Status Controls - allow for clearer communication of statuses between the submitter and approver, all the way through to task completion.

Improved Logging - better logging of submissions into P6 with more granular tracing.

Tool Consistency - technology stack improvements and upgrades for more consistency across the Emerald Software tools.
