Canadian Trade Mission to the Philippines
Emerald Associates is excited to announce their participation in the Canadian trade mission to the Philippines led by International Trade Minister, Ed Fast.
Taking place in Manila and Cebu May 24-28, 2015, this trade mission is part of the Government of Canada’s efforts to help Canadian business’s capitalize on the opportunities in foreign markets. This trade mission comes at an excellent time as it aligns with Emerald's recent announcement of an expansion to the Asia Pacific with the opening of a regional head office in Brisbane, Australia.
This will be a multi-sector trade mission including infrastructure, sustainable technologies, defence and security, information communications technology, and agriculture. Tyler Staton, Solutions Manager for the Asia Pacific, will be participating with a focus on infrastructure, a sector that is expected to remain strong due to a predicted 15.9 trillion in infrastructure expenditures over the next 20 years in the Asia-Pacific area and a boom in the sector driven by Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
The Philippines is the second fastest-growing economy in Asia and Emerald Associates is excited to share their Oracle Primavera expertise and turnkey managed services to the portfolio and project management teams in the area.
