Some Additions To Oracle Primavera Cloud Version 25.6

When importing P6 XML/XER files, you can now choose to exclude codes and configured fields (at any or all levels of the configured fields) from import. Avoid pulling in unwanted configured fields and activity codes, keeping your database cleaner.

In the OPC schedule health check, you can now choose to track out-of-sequence activities along with the list of other available checks. Out-of-sequence activities in Oracle Primavera Cloud are activities that are executed in an order that is different from the planned sequence. These activities can cause issues such as delayed project completion, inaccurate forecasting, and incorrect resource allocation. Tracking out-of-sequence activities assists users in identifying and correcting these activities to ensure that the project schedule is accurate.

In Dashboards, drill down is now available when using Dashboards for Tree Map or Bubble Charts. This is a handy way to provide not only a rolled-up view of specific information, but also a drill down that is just a click away for more granularity.

When using tasks in OPC, there is now added functionality to use row numbers. Row numbers can be turned on and listed for each task on the Task List page (blue checkbox – bottom of the Manage Views dialogue box). This provides added functionality to make tracking and processing Tasks project information easier.

Select ‘Show Row Numbers’ (above) to display tasks with row numbers (below).

Find and Replace is now available on the Task List page as well. It’s a bit hidden – you have to right-click on a supported column to see the option.

This is not an all-inclusive list of features new to OPC V25.6, but a look at some of the additions. It is handy to keep informed of new functionality so that you can use it to your advantage as applicable.
