EAI 106 - Primavera P6 - Program Scheduling How-to

1 Day Course

Description

The P6 102 and 102A courses teach many aspects of creating schedules, but not all topics are developed in full depth, leaving many students anxious to learn more. This course focuses on using advanced features of P6 to ensure students up their game when working on major capital projects, multi-project programs and turnaround projects.

Prerequisites

102 - P6 Primavera Professional Basic Training Course

Target Audience

P6 Administrators, P6 Senior Schedulers, Program Managers

The Program

Starting with overviews of PPM, EPPM and P6 there is a quick review of the processes of planning and scheduling projects to make sure that everyone is on the same page. The course looks at project portfolios, interdependencies, and common problems planning them effectively. The structures and coding needed to handle large P6 projects and multi-projects is covered. Finally, we touch briefly on risk registers and how to incorporate risk coding to ensure Risk Analysis can be performed. The course DOES teach hands-on use of the tools.
