The Program

Starting with overviews of PPM, EPPM and P6 there is a quick review of the processes of planning and scheduling projects to make sure that everyone is on the same page. The course looks at project portfolios, interdependencies, and common problems planning them effectively. The structures and coding needed to handle large P6 projects and multi-projects is covered. Finally we touch briefly on risk registers and how to incorporate risk coding to ensure Risk Analysis can be performed. The course DOES teach hands on use of the tools.

Undertaking a thorough corporate review of project delivery methods can be a daunting task for your internal team. The temptation to dive in, bypass this critical step, and purchase software systems without a clear understanding of real needs, goals and return on investment can leave you with even bigger challenges. Having an experienced professional team lead the Needs Assessment process brings objectivity, innovation, and needed expertise to the process, thus maximizing the benefit of the program.
