Primavera P6 Cleanup Utility

Primavera P6-EPPM has activity codes and calendars that can be shared across projects, at the EPS level or at the project level. Maintaining the activity codes and the calendars can be time-consuming, especially with multiple project divisions or departments. Oracle Primavera P6 does not have the functionality to move activity codes and calendars from the top Global level to Project level, or to merge codes together if needed, but Emerald's P6 Cleanup Utility via P6-Loader does.

The P6 cleanup utility allows the administrators of P6 and superusers to move activity codes and calendars to different levels in P6's hierarchy in an easy to use tool. This tool can move activity codes and/or calendars up the hierarchy - for example, from project level to EPS level and/or Global level. This is a function that P6 currently does not have, so using P6-Loader to move codes up into global data is very helpful and user friendly. This rollup feature can also do merging and remapping or renaming of fields. P6-Loader also lets you move activity codes and calendars down the hierarchy from Global to EPS and/or to Project level. Keeping your activity codes and calendars standardized is important for corporate project and portfolio management. This feature is now built into P6-Loader, and makes P6 schedule development and consistent database maintenance so much easier.
